Picture being a smart-building designer whose job is to crank out 100+ page proposals to win new projects — over and over, with most of the content being repetitive boilerplate. That was the problem I was handed during my internship at Coco Tech, and Power Writer was the answer.

What I built

A full-stack agentic slide generator. Feed it a pile of past design plans plus the requirements for a new project, and it produces a complete, formatted presentation. I built both the backend and frontend, end to end.

How it works

Under the hood it's a RAG pipeline built on LangChain and the OpenAI API:

1. Source documents are pre-processed and chunked
2. Text is embedded and stored for fast semantic retrieval
3. A chain of agents generates an outline, drafts section titles, fills in content, and integrates relevant images
4. The final result is a polished slide deck the design team can hand off

Numbers

• Under 5 minutes end-to-end with local models
• Under 2 minutes with online models
• ~78.6% reduction in slide-creation time (from ~7 days down to ~1.5 days per project)
• Generated content rated ~80% as good as human-written in internal review
• Set the bar for the company's future product direction
